Overview of Experience:Equanimity employs a science based approach to psychedelic assisted therapy. We combine best practices refined at the world's leading psychedelic research centers with our clinical team's clinical psychology and psychiatry expertise. Our pre-retreat preparation work asks clients to write a life story and set their intention. Clients have two 1 on 1 sessions with a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist. Guidance is provided on nutrition, meditation, information diets and the like to best prepare clients mind and bodies for their journey. The retreat is a 4 night 5 day, 5 star hospitality experience that includes further preparation work involving yoga, mediation, breath work, cold exposure and psychological and neuroscience workshops. Clients have 1 psilocybin journey and then 2 days of post journey integration including building a comprehensive action plan based on client's goals and experiences. Post-retreat we have a 6-month integration program that includes six 1 on 1 sessions with their assigned clinician from the retreat.
Intake Process:Clients complete an in-take form on our website and then meet with one of our clinical psychologists or psychiatrists who take a full medical and mental health history in order to ensure psilocybin therapy is a good fit for them.
