    About Me:

    My passion is fostering people’s connection to a deeper sense of themselves, and through that, to something bigger and more awe-inspiring. I have received invaluable gifts along my journey and much experience to share. I am a lifelong lover of learning, exploring, and experimenting, and I bring that into the spaces where I teach, consult, and counsel.

    I have been a community leader and educator in Southern California around the therapeutic, spiritual, and shamanic uses of psychedelics since 2014. My journey has taken me from a previous career in environmental science to a passion for the reintroduction of psychedelics and entheogens back into Western society. I founded the Southern California psychedelic society, the Aware Project, in addition to co-founding InnerSpace Integration, producing and hosting over 90 psychedelic educational events.

    In 2015, I transitioned professionally into the field of mental health. From 2015-2017, I worked as psycho-spiritual retreat facilitator at Crossroads Treatment Center in Mexico supporting attendees through ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT experiences. In 2017, I was hired as the study coordinator for the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS)-sponsored clinical trial of MDMA-assited psychotherapy for the treatment of PTSD during which time I returned back to school for my 2nd masters degree, this time in Social Work. By 2019, I had transitioned into the role of co-investigator as a psychotherapist on the MDMA trial. More recently, I have been trained by Compass in psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy and am a consultant for Beckley Psytech for their 5-MeO-DMT-assisted psychotherapy therapy manual in service of upcoming research trials.

    As an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), I am currently finishing up my final hours towards licensure.

    Description of Services:

    Psychotherapy

    I offer trauma-informed therapy that weaves in IFS, somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, ketamine-assisted therapy, and psychedelic integration to support you in revealing greater clarity, resilience, and harmony in your life.

    Consultation

    I provide one-on-one consulting and mentorship for mental health professionals, entrepreneurs, and organizations introducing psychedelics into our culture, as well as, to individuals looking for support in navigating psychedelics for self-discovery.

    Public Speaking

    Since 2014, I have been a speaker/moderator on podcasts, presentations, and panels. I excel at synthesizing the complexity of this field and highlighting nuanced perspectives on the space and I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge with audiences.

    Community Building

    I founded the Southern California psychedelic society (Aware Project), and was an early collaborator on several organizations that support psychedelic education and wellbeing. Get connected to this community and learn from the recordings of our past events.

  • Our Process

    Overview of Experience:

    Treatment is broken into two phases, the introductory series and maintenance. While protocols can vary depending on the needs of the individual, the introductory series consists of doing 1 KAP session a week for 6 to 8 weeks along with weekly talk therapy integration sessions. Maintenance is as needed but typically looks like one KAP session every 1-6 months. And very occasionally, clients find they do not need to return again after the initial series.

    Intake Process:

    In these in-depth sessions with a psychiatrist and myself, we work to understand your needs and goals so we can collaboratively create a treatment plan customized specifically for you. This is where we determine if KAP is appropriate for you.
