    About Me:

    A deep love for life and respect for the wisdom of my experiences have gifted me a firm foundation thru life's challenges and celebrations.  With a successful private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 30 years, I know insight-oriented therapies like EMDR and IFS are exceptionally capable of assisting you in processing and integrating your psychedelic experiences as well as life's issues. As an early adopter of EMDR, I've witnessed its effective treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma. EMDR along with IFS are excellent companions for deep insight into the complexities of your psychedelic experience. I also bring 10 years of shamanic psychodrama training and 8 years of prep and integration experience.

    I firmly believe that combining experienced compassion in intentional set and setting, will usher psychedelics into playing a significant role in the future of mental health.

    Description of Services:

    I believe in your intrinsic self-healer and compassionately meet you where you are.  Psychedelics are currently illegal in Texas.  Thus my services are limited to prep and integration.  In person or virtual. You will choose your substance and provider, guide or sitter for your journey.  Since being listed as a MAPS integration provider for over 4 yrs., I trust their protocol of at least 2 prep sessions before and at least 2 integration sessions following your experience.  During the prep phase, we take into account your background and how you can optimally craft an intention that will best guide your experience.  IFS is quickly being recognized as an excellent companion for psychedelic journeys and integrations. Having used it numerous times, I can attest that it is extremely valuable! If you wish, we can arrange for more in depth processing and skill development after integration is compete.

      Plant medicine has been very valuable to my healing journey and I undoubtedly know that Mary Lee’s guidance through the preparatory and integration phase have been indispensable to that outcome. Even though at first I felt very anxious, her thoughtful approach and evident wisdom gave me confidence in her assessment of my readiness.

      I cannot leave a strong enough of a positive review for Mary Lee Roberts. I met Mary Lee 2 years and two months ago as I was near suicide and was plotting my death but had an epiphany about psychedelic medicine to help me overcome the shame and guilt from a child molestation at the age of three. I reached out to her and we spoke for over an hour and then she recommended me to a facilitator who I spoke to for over an hour and 4 days later I was getting an unbelievable treatment that shook me from terrible addiction and self-abuse; we have been friends ever since. I strongly believe divine intervention played apart in our work together. She also helped me with IFS work that I needed to address after battling stage 4 throat cancer last year. To say I’ve been through a lot is an understatement and to have a trusted therapist and dear friend like Mary Lee made my journey a lot more palatable. You can meet her in person and she also has online appointments available. You cannot find a more experienced and trusted LPC in the country, let alone Texas.
