    Hi, I am Rachel Richards, LMHC. It is an honor for me to help each and every client.

    Almost 30 years of experience in mental health and a personal commitment to authenticity, honesty and compassion allows me to serve the diverse needs of clients with flexibility and expertise.

    Description of Services:

    Having a good fit in the client-therapist relationship is integral. Research consistently shows that the quality of the relationship between the therapist and client is one of the primary predictors of client progress in therapy. Potential clients can use the introductory session to ask the therapist questions about their approach to determine whether it would be a good fit for them.
    What to expect: Your first therapy session will primarily consist of you giving background information to the therapist. You’ll go over why you want therapy and what your goals are. The therapist will explain their philosophy, their process, and other expectations they have for your work together as you explain your own. If there is a good fit you will schedule follow up sessions. All sessions are conducted online via HIPPA compliant software that protects client confidentiality and private health information.
